I believe every child deserves to receive the best education possible that will empower them to achieve their goals and dreams.
In 1991, I immigrated to America and understood the importance of education and its monumental role in my future as an immigrant, recent college graduate, and non-English speaker from Lima, Peru.
Along with my husband, Charles, I raised two children: Maria Ellena, who holds a degree in Communication and Post-graduate studies in Law from Baylor University, and Aaron Isaac, who holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University.
Throughout my educational and career development, I earned three Master's degrees and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration. I held positions as a Bilingual Teacher/Reading Specialist, Specialist of Federal Programs, District ESL/Bilingual Facilitator, Director of Compliance and Monitoring & Director of Language Acquisition, Assistant Director of Multilingual Programs for a mid-size school district.
As a bi-lingual citizen and education executive, I have overcome challenges and taken risks that have made me even more dedicated to pursuing excellence. My vision is to inspire, elevate and empower leaders who ensure quality education is accessible, innovative, and adaptive, regardless of social, economic, and political conditions.
